Riverside Park

Riverside Park is located at 2001 Monroe Avenue NE, in the heart of Grand Rapids.

This 100-acre park is the largest in the Grand Rapids parks system and has been host to many community festivals and events.

Encompassing nearly one mile of Grand River frontage with an accessible boat launch, the park has been the host site for the Masters Nationals Regatta twice.

Classified as a large urban park designed to meet community-based recreational needs and preservation of unique landscapes and open space.

Directions & Parking
DIRECTIONS

I-96 West to US 131 North to Ann Street exit (east) to Monroe Avenue North; take to Riverside Park (Boat Launch 2 entrance).

PARKING

Athletes must park in North Baseball parking lot, accessed off North Monroe.

Spectator parking is available in the Monroe parking lot off the entry road. Additional limited parking is available at the North end of the access road.

Tour busses should drop-off athletes and park on Monroe.

Only boat, equipment and food / chuck wagon trailer parking is available starting at 12pm on Friday. They can enter through the Guild Street entrance and find assigned space to team in the rower's village. Trailers can not sit or park on the Rower Village road. ​

The Racecourse WILL NOT be open to rowing for any crew prior to the event.
